Deadline for Workshops submission is April 30, 2010

To facilitate the exchange of information on mountain research, short parallel workshops will be organised as a part of Forum Carpaticum (www.forumcarpaticum.org). All workshops will be held during the conference, between 15th and 17th of September 2010.
The workshops should fall within the thematic scope of the Forum Carpaticum but the topics could cover also research issues from other mountain areas with a potential relevance to the Carpathians. Researchers and practitioners wishing to organize workshops should submit proposals in plain text or PDF format. Proposals should include:
- Workshop title;
- Description of the workshop topic, goals and expected outcomes (200-300 words);
- Names and e-mail addresses of the workshop chairs;
- A list of potential contributors;
The workshop proposals will be evaluated by the Forum Carpaticum scientific committee in March 2010. After acceptance, workshop information will appear at the Forum Carpaticum website.
